  • Will I lose access to the platform after I get certified?
No, you will have lifetime access to this course after you purchase.
  • Can my kids take this course?
While anyone can take this online training, you must be at least 16 years of age to become Part 107 certified.
  • Why can't I just fly my drone without doing all this?
It really depends on what you want to do with your drone. If you're using your drone purely for recreational purposes, you would simply need to obtain the TRUST certification, which is free and will take you only 20 minutes. However, if you're wanting to use your drone for purposes outside of recreation, you must obtain the FAA Part 107 certification.
  • How long will this take me to finish?
The beauty of the online course is that it's self-paced. It's up to you how much time you want to dedicate to this course. On average, it takes students roughly 2 weeks to complete the course and pass the test. If you commit 1 hour a day, you can finish the course in a week!
  • How much is the online course?
It's $199 for a lifetime access to the platform.
  • Will I also get hands-on training on top of this online course?
No. This online course is just for the FAA Part 107 knowledge test prep. If you'd like to get hands-on training, please consider joining us on our in-person workshops which run 5~7 days. Here, you'll learn both the knowledge portion and get practical drone flight training with other student pilots.
  • Why should I buy this course?
Drones are the future. Drones are slowly being implemented in so many different industries. Piloting a drone and being certified is and will be a very valuable skill. The reason our course is special is because it's being taught by an actual drone service provider that conducts the largest drone missions in this region. The content is also localized and there will be local support.
  • Do I need to bring my own drone to this class?
No. We will provide the drone that you will practice on.
  • Is there an age requirement to join this course?
As the FAA requires the pilot to be at least 16 years of age or older to become certified, we are requiring anyone to be at least 16 to sign up for this workshop.
  • Are there any prerequisites for attending this workshop?
No prior experience or knowledge is needed. We will teach you from the ground up!
  • What if I miss a day?
It's not a problem. Our instructors will brief you on what was covered that day and give you homework to catch up. A separate tutoring session can be scheduled as well.
  • How long are the classes?
Classes will typically run 2-3 hours a session.
  • Are there any additional cost associated with this workshop?
Yes. You will have to pay for your own FAA knowledge test which is currently at $175. We will assist you in scheduling your test during the workshop.
  • Will this workshop cover specific industries or applications?
This workshop is primarily focused on teaching you the FAA Part 107 regulations and getting you hands on experience. However, we will briefly touch on the different use-cases of drones and different industries.
  • What materials will I need for this class?
The only thing you would have to bring is a laptop, tablet or an iPad. We will provide the rest.
  • How much should I spend for my first drone?
We would recommend investing somewhere between $500 - $1,000 for a drone. In this price level, the drone will most likely be equipped with certain safety features, such as return to home, GPS, obstacle avoidance, and more.
  • How much can I make as a drone pilot?
Currently, the average hourly rate you can charge as a drone pilot is $150. Depending on the level of drone you have, you may charge significantly more. For example, when we do large-scale construction projects using our larger drones, we charge upwards of $1,000 per hour.
  • Where can I fly my drone?
This is something we cover extensively during the curriculum. You'll learn about airspace and where you can and cannot fly. You'll learn about restricted areas such as military bases and controlled areas like airports.
